Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada
We are a ministry partnership of more than 450 Canadian Baptist churches and 21 Associations in the Atlantic Provinces. Our role is to resource our pastors, churches, and people, and to facilitate shared mission on behalf of our churches.
Our purpose is being and making disciples of Jesus Christ who are integrated into the life and ministry of healthy growing churches, committed to fulfilling the Great Commission and the doing of God’s will on earth.
Northwestern Association of CBAC
The Northwestern Association is an Association of Baptist Churches in Northwestern New Brunswick, Canada. We are one of several Associations which are affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada (CBAC).
Local Ministries
Centreville Childcare
Our staff will provide an environment with many activity centers where children can play and learn. There is a mixture of quiet and active play areas, as well as areas which promote individual and group interaction. There are activities that stimulate the mind as well as activities that help to develop small and large muscle skills.
Centreville Child Care welcomes ALL children. It is our mission to provide care to a wide range of children regardless of religion, nationality, social or physical status. We are a full inclusion daycare. This provides all of the children with many benefits as well as opportunities to learn about differences. It helps to instil the standards and values that promote compassion, patience and acceptance.
Camp Shiktehawk
It is believed that it was along the banks of the Shiktehawk stream an Indian chief won a great battle. The name Shiktehawk means ‘Where he conquered.’ Today, a history of conquering has been established along the stream. Conquering not over physical battles, but spiritual ones.
Things have changed a great deal since those early years of camp, but one thing that remains the same is that “Jesus Never Fails”. For more than 80 years Shiktehawk Bible Camp has been a life changing place for many. Shiktehawk Bible Camp is proudly owned by the Northwest Association of Baptist Churches in Carleton & Victoria County. Offering summer camp, winter camp, wilderness camp, day camp, family camp, & ladies retreats.
Centreville Community Dance Ministry
The Centreville Community Dance Ministry (CCDM) is an outreach to the community. We meet once a week at Centerville Baptist where we learn dance technique as well as introducing christian themes through the music we use and the routines we work on. CCDM is used during our worship services as well as special services (Christmas & Easter).

We've Got Your Back River Valley
A volunteer charitable initiative that gives local children and youth, who are experiencing food insecurity, a bag of food to take home from school on the weekends. We are based out of the True North Baptist Church and have been operational since the Fall of 2014. We have grown throughout the years to now include all six schools in our Northern Carleton area - CNHS, CCS, BCS, BRES, FES and FMS, with a partnership with the schools and church and community volunteers.
